Auditing has a lot of advantages - attending as an auditor can help:

  • Those with a bit of performance anxiety

  • Those who are not quite ready to participate fully

  • Those who want to join a wider community of musicians

  • Those who don’t have quite enough experience yet to participate.

Tuition

Full Participants: $430*

In-person auditors: $180*

Virtual Auditors: $150

*Price includes lunch and snacks each day.

Housing: While we try to find homestays for participants throughout the Boston area (not always in Cambridge), we urge you to work your Boston contacts for housing.

Financial Aid may be available for some students, but it is very limited. We will work with students to defray travel costs by loaning instruments if we can.

Location information: Cambridge and Harvard

Memorial Church in Harvard Yard is accessible by:

We also have an extra practice location at First Church in Cambridge, shown on the map.

Parking in Cambridge is hard. There are 1-hour and 2-hour meters available for street parking. Ticketing is rampant. However, we may be able to help with parking passes for about $20 per day. We encourage carpooling to save costs.

Another option would be to park at the Alewife T Station in Cambridge for $3-$9 per day. It is an easy 3 stops to Harvard Station.
